Hello! I'm Jackie! 

I am a communications professional based out of Des Moines. I am currently a Copywriter at designIQ, the creative branch of Gannett, writing content for external commercial/enterprise clients on BtB & BtC marketing assets.

My previous experience includes:

• Product marketing, internal communications and sales enablement at Businessolver

• Creating print schedules and assisting in digital archiving at Meredith Corporation

• Launching and managing all social media platforms at the Iowa Department of Corrections

I hold a degree in Public Relations with minors in Women’s Studies and Communication Studies from Iowa State University. I currently live in West Des Moines, IA with my husband, two cats and too much Star Wars memorabilia. 

FUN FACTS:

• I've been golfing my entire life and was recruited to play college golf in Kansas.

• I was in two Iowa State University commercials.

• My super secret recipe dessert bars have won two awards.

• I co-founded the chapter of my sorority at Iowa State University.

• I created a portion of a government department policy on photography for IDOC.

• I am a movie buff and I will win any kind of movie trivia night/game/office competition.
